We are currently looking for a skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead building services projects across the commercial, educational, and public health sectors. This is a full-time, permanent position.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, budget management, and timely delivery.
·Coordinate and oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations.
·Supervise commissioning processes, ensuring smooth handover and client familiarisation.
·Prepare testing, handover, and O&M documentation upon project completion.
·Ensure mechanical and electrical works comply with specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
·Develop and monitor project schedules, tracking progress, delays, and contract variations.
·Manage subcontractor selection, appointments, and coordination.
·Address and resolve defects or quality compliance issues promptly.
·Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and the supply chain.
·Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
·Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
·Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
·Establish cost-effective procurement strategies and maintain supplier relationships.
·Review and interpret project drawings, schematics, and specifications.
·Prepare regular progress updates, meeting minutes, and financial reports.
·Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections.
·Maintain accurate H&S documentation and enforce safety protocols on-site.
 
Requirements:
 
·Proven experience as a Building Services Project Manager, specifically managing Electrical/Mechanical systems for commercial projects.
·Strong understanding of both Design & Build and traditional contract project types.
·Excellent project management, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
·Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
·Relevant industry qualifications and experience.
·SMSTS/SSSTS certification and valid CSCS card.
·Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
·Previous experience in site management and successful project delivery.
